GREENLIGHT #63: The Night Listener (with "Good Morning, Vietnam" and "The World According to Garp")

Ann and Les were, essentially, bored by The Night Listener (2006.) Robin Williams seems to be in another "serious" period and they think his performance is quite tedious. Of course, the story doesn't help any. Especially since it doesn't as much resolve as it does just stop. Les, however, was more intrigued by the performance of Toni Collette than Ann was so they differ slightly on their rating. For their GREENLIGHT Rentals, Les recommends Mr. Williams in a happier period, even though he's dealing with another difficult topic in Good Morning, Vietnam (1987.) Ann goes for Mr. Williams in his second movie working with Glenn Close in her first movie which was called The World According to Garp (1982.)
